Shaun Riches, Ben Riches and Stuart
Fowler visited South Africa, working with students at Groendal,
Kayamandi
and Scottsville Schools and at the Frank Pietersen Music
Centre. Among the aims of the visit were to initiate a combined South

Sponsorship/Partnership Updates:
Laura and Lucy Chappell have secured sponsorship for the project from
their local church. Sharon Duke has secured the services of a local
coach company to transport our party to the airport, when we travel to
South Africa in March 2008. We are discussing a partnership in which
players from the Jazz and Steel orchestras will perform with Tabla
maestro Sanju
Sahai, representing Art Asia in South Africa, in exchange
for the South Africa Panjazz Project appearing at the Mela festival in
Southampton. Full story on our Newsletter. |
